Use These 2 Techniques To Stop Thinking Negatively
Humans are a creature of emotions.
The more you can work on and with your emotions, the more self-aware you become.
Work on identifying your triggers.
What makes you react?
Why does it make you react?
Note down the biggest triggers in your day-to-day life.
These could be words, situations, people, reactions you get from people, etc.
Spend time reflecting on them & getting to the root of the matter.
Audit the language of your self-talk
The language you use programs & rewires your brain.
Be hyper-aware of how you talk to yourself.
What thoughts are you feeding yourself about yourself daily?
Write it down.
Additionally, ban the words that limit you.
Eliminate such words from your language completely.
Journal about what you want the most
Build up the mental picture of what you do want to see in your life.
Journal about what you want to achieve & why it matters to you.
This will redirect your focus from negative thoughts.
Whenever you find your mind unoccupied, redirect your focus toward your goals.
When you find yourself doing work that does not require deep focus, use that time to redirect your focus toward your goals.
Get into the habit of redirecting your focus from negative to positive multiple times throughout the day.
Journaling is a great way to do it.
Keep a small journal with you at all times.
Whenever you find yourself indulging in negative thinking, just begin writing your goals & aspirations down.
Slowly, you will start to break the cycle of negative thought patterns.
